It's December.
Wasn't it just last week when I was bitching about one-hundred degree weather? Actually I was, but what I mean is, wasn't it June just last week?
Back to the absurdity that it is December —
I've decided to give myself something special for Christmas this year: an almost finished Rip, Rip, Hurry-the-Fuck-Up-Ripple Afghan! And by almost, I mean without a border. I'm trying to remain realistic about getting this done; therefore, I hope to have it all done before my birthday on January third.
Awhile back I determined there had to be at least sixty-four more rows until the ripple was complete. I'll need to crochet three rows (close to one-thousand double-crochet stitches) a day to meet my goal. It seems impossible, especially since I have to factor in time for personal hygiene and tweeting.
But I'm going to keep the faith of the holiday season, 'cos if Christmas has taught me anything, it's that reindeer really do know how to fly and wishes can come true!

If you don't get it done in time for your birthday, mine is in march.
I LOVE that blanket!

You're funny...I sometimes calculate out how much I have to complete per day/week/month of large projects, too. It doesn't make it happen, but somehow it's satisfying. Good luck!

Linda ~ I'll need to remember to put it in the Will.
Tami ~ Isn't that the truth?! I probably had some optimistic time-frame when I started this in December of TWO-THOUSAND SEVEN!
